Pietro is a senior consultant and associate professor in gynecology and reproductive medicine, with over 25 years of clinical and academic experience. His career spans Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Sweden.
He earned his medical degree and specialist training in obstetrics and gynecology at Gemelli University Hospital in Rome. He holds a PhD from the Universidad de Cantabria in Santander and a Master of Medical Science with a focus on medical education from Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. He was appointed associate professor in gynecology and reproductive medicine at Uppsala University.
