Laparoscopic conservative excision of a rare asymptomatic 11-cm ovarian dermoid cyst containing a mandible with seven teeth

A case is presented of conservative laparoscopic excision of a rare asymptomatic 11-cm ovarian dermoid cyst which contained a mandible with seven teeth, found in a 22-year-old patient. To reduce spillage, the ovary was placed in a 15-cm diameter endoscopic bag where the cyst was enucleated and then removed from the abdominal cavity. No intraoperative complications occurred.
